Hot on the heels of a study illustrating how more and more hotel guests value a digital offering, B Hotels & Resorts announced the launch of its Monscierge mobile app, providing guests with a personal, cloud-based concierge service for all destinations in its portfolio.
Custom-designed for each B property, the service provides instant access to information about everything from hotel amenities to weather forecasts, flight updates, local tips and more. The free app updates automatically to provide real-time information to guests staying at the hotels or remotely through their iPhones and Android devices. A tablet version is due out this summer.
“We cater to experience-driven, tech savvy guests, and providing them with a convenient way to explore and communicate with each hotel is only natural for our innovative brand,” said Allie Weiner, Director of Brand Programs and Communications at B Hotels & Resorts. “Our new app not only provides hotel and amenity information, but it also includes access to unlimited localized content such as area recommendations, excursions and driving directions, all of which will help guests to enhance their time with us and make their visit however they want it to be.”
The user-friendly app allows guests to immerse themselves in the local culture by providing 24/7 information on nearby restaurants, shops, nightlife, spas, attractions, and local events. Users can also receive directions and maps by text or email and post their experiences directly on social media.
In addition to the mobile app, the Monscierge digital concierge system is available in the form of large touchscreens in each hotel lobby. The system has the same features as the app and also allows guests to print out driving directions and boarding passes.
B Hotels & Resorts forged their partnership with Monscierge based on the flexibility that they offer. The touchscreen concierge technology has the capability of providing complete interactive applications and all related content in 12 languages, making it attractive both nationally and globally.

B Hotels & Resorts plans to roll out more features of the app that will showcase the hotel’s Open-Source Hospitality, a practice that promotes interactive communication between team members and guests. With just a few taps of a finger, guests will be able to connect with the hotel as needed throughout their stay for a more comfortable and customizable travel experience.
With the additional components, guests can order room service, call valet, request housekeeping services or extra pillows, and more. This next phase of the app is schedule to be introduced at each hotel later this year.
