You have undoubtedly made a wealth of travel decisions based almost solely on cost, but have you ever considered how much you might be losing in the process?
That’s one of the things that drives the new innovation from Biz Airlines, a travel booking solution for corporate travelers who would like to save their business money but also know that time is just as good as cold, hard cash.
Biz Airlines takes artificial intelligence and delivers a booking experience that doesn’t just factor in the price of your plane ticket but also how much time and energy you will expend getting to that meeting a few states over.
There are a ton of things to consider in the trade-off, which you already do subconsciously as a traveler: TSA tedium, airport infrastructure and the cost of amenities like in-flight Internet access.
Now, you have something to do the thinking for you.

The best part is that you have a powerful tool that illustrates how productive and cost efficient your trip will be. It beats explaining that you took a more expensive flight just to save some time to your travel supervisor.
Bruno Santiago, Founder and CEO of Biz Airlines, explains via press release: “Many business executives purchase the cheapest flight option when traveling, enforced by company policies, but don’t realize how much time, productivity and money are lost along the way.”
Santiago continues, “We are excited to launch the first travel business solution that will not only deliver the most cost effective way for executives to fly, but also helps companies save money in travel expenditures in the long run.”
Business travelers can get more information at the website, which breaks down what you can expect from the service.
The first step is a concierge service that fields your itinerary query and pumps out efficient suggestions. From there, you will get a TripCost, which takes into account outlying items you might not have previously considered from, say, an OTA that highlights solely the price of your ticket.
There is also access to a private-jet opportunity called BizConnect that now operates along two routes (although more are in the works): Orlando and Miami; and Toronto and New York.
Santiago explains further: “With BizConnect™, travelers can essentially arrive at the airport 15 minutes prior to the flight with no issues and share the cost of private travel.”
The app fills a loaded market that continues to utilize algorithms and artificial intelligence to make booking trips more efficient.
Biz Airlines is a particularly promising innovation that gives the business traveler a set of data to show supervisors who might be worried about the bottom dollar.
The hope is that you have a far more pleasant experience while also showing that you are working on staving off rising travel costs.
