Pokémon Go players will find something to like about the new amenity kits being based around some Emirates flights.
The airline has made some in-flight adjustments to what it includes in its kits for passengers, which now include augmented reality entertainment.
Yes, you may have heard the phrase once in the past few weeks. It’s the technology utilized that makes Pokémon pop right in front of your phone.
Taking just a cursory look at Blippar’s work you can see how the innovation brings the simple to life and makes the mundane instantly exciting. Augmented reality allows the users of the app to interact with items as if they were sitting right there on their lap.
Take that idea and put it thousands of feet in the air and you have what Emirates hopes is a nice treat for those sitting in economy class.
Now, you will have to download the Blippar app before, but then seeing what’s available is as easy as scanning the respective bag you are given as you take your seat.
