Kill It With Tech: 6 Ways To Make Sure Your Winter Travels Are Warm

Depending on where you are in the country, it's getting mighty cold out there or has been for several weeks.

If you are heading out for a vacation to frolic in the snow or are merely traveling for business in a place where warmth is a premium then you would do well to consider some of the following for your next trip.

Now, of course, these are just a few suggestions that may help keep you warm out there this winter. Please feel free to lob any recommendations our way, because we would love to see them.

Smart Gloves:

There is absolutely no reason to ever take off your gloves this winter, despite having to create social media posts or getting back to that urgent text.

PC Magazine has a list of several from all manner of price points and levels of warmth.

Or, if you are so inclined, you can just make your own using those now outdated gloves of yours:

Bluetooth Beanie:

Now many of you who like their music on the go already have a solution in the form of earbuds or headphones that sit just underneath your warm winter hat or beanie.

However, if you want to have an all-inclusive answer out there on the slopes then consider a Bluetooth beanie like that offered by Blu-Toque or Tenergy.

Pump It Up:

Those from the generation that pumped their sneakers will love this. Nudown has a line of jackets that allow users to warm or cool their bodies simply by pumping air into their coats.

Seeing as how we haven't tried it yet, we can't state whether it works well or not, but the idea is very cool.

Battery Powered Soles:

ThermaCELL offers a way to warm you little tootsies through old school fuel known as batteries. You remember those, right?

Hand Warmers:

Of course, you can pick up a packet of hand warmers, which is always advisable. However, if you crave a bit more style perhaps consider the Zippo hand warmer that works on lighter fluid.
