Louis Vuitton Just Raised The Luggage Game

Style, function and what we presume will be a hefty price tag join forces for a new luggage line coming from Louis Vuitton.
The following images illustrate a bag the is most certainly the kind of accoutrement that would turn heads at the airport. However, both reports signal something that was created with a great deal of creativity and forethought.
Now, before we get to some specifics and thoughts from its madly imaginative creator, we might as well offer a glimpse of the luxurious luggage.
And here is a video that features Newson and his explanation of what some might consider a traveling piece of art.
As Newson states, the ongoing dilemma of how to function a piece of carry-on started well before being employed by Louis Vuitton, via Wallpaper. According to the designer, he’s, “probably spent 20 years designing these things in my head, long before I knew that I was going to be doing this for Louis Vuitton.”
Paramount among the changes is switching the handle and its mechanism to the outside of the bag.
That small change, along with myriad sartorial tweaks, is where the bag really shines.
Newson continues, via Wallpaper: “I think it’s safe to say that we’re striving to break new ground in terms of developing a product which is one of the lightest in the market, and from a technical perspective is one of the most rigorously designed and engineered. 'I’m obsessive about packing everything into a bag of a certain size, which is why it was so important for me to design a product that could tick all of those boxes and be the perfect piece of luggage for a person like me, [who] won’t travel with anything more than is absolutely necessary.”
Fastcodesign.com reports that relatively minor alteration led to 13 percent more space for travelers.
We leave it to you whether that, the lightweight feeling and the fashion behind the piece is worth the money.
Unfortunately, you will have to wait awhile to make the decision. Pricing was not immediately available. However, we recommend saving up now.
