If things go according to plan there will finally be a power solution for those demanding types who need to charge their phone in five minutes.
Yes, five minutes.
That’s pretty much how much time it took for ASAP Dash to raise its funds on its Indiegogo campaign.
With two months to go it has already blasted straight on through its goal of $30,000 to more that $60,000. It seems people don’t just love power solutions; they also enjoy items that will save them time.
And really, the charger you will see in the following video is perfect for travelers. You can essentially charge the battery while you drive to the airport and then charge your phone while waiting in line at TSA.
Currently the featured campaign perk is the Early Adopter, which gets you an ASAP Dash in silver, gold or gunmetal for $79. The product is tabbed to ship in June 2016.
But what exactly are you getting?
According to the campaign, you are getting nothing less than all of your dreams wrapped into a little box of circuitry.
Let’s break down what the campaign boasts. According to ASAP Dash, it can charge itself up to three iPhones worth of power in about 15 minutes, which is crucial for those people packing their luggage while just remembering they forgot to charge their portable battery.
It also incorporates technology that reads what device you are charging and charges that device at its maximum allowable rate.
What you then get is a super-fast charge as well as the sudden feeling that you are the ruler of the entire world.
It also comes with a dual-head USB cable to meet the demands of most smartphones and tablet devices.
The only real drawback, as best we can see, is that this blazing fast portable power solution does demand a bit of patience.
We will have to wait until June to see if this is really too good to be true.
