While it certainly seems like our vacation videos pop off the screen, one company is attempting to truly pull that feat off for consumers.

Vitrima is a lens that adds bulk to your GoPro Hero 3 or Hero 4 camera. Obviously, the extra heft comes bearing some truly sweet possibilities.

According to the Indiegogo campaign, this device will allow you to easily create 3D video while you record out there in the wild.

As promised, you don’t need extra software or extremely expensive accoutrement that usually come in tandem with creating 3D video.

You just need this lens, which turns you into a walking 3D video machine. Here’s a video that highlights the technology.

People must love their vibrant and real-world videos, because Vitrima is doing quite well in its funding phase.

As of this writing it has a month to go and already surpassed its goal of $20,000 with a total of $38,639, which we assume will continue to rise.

It’s a good thing too, because the video promises Vitrima packages will ship immediately, so there’s no need to wait until the campaign and production closes.

For $105, for example, you get a Vitrima 3D lenses and a 3D viewer.

As noted, you don’t necessarily need a viewer to enjoy the videos, but it’s boasted as the best possible way to see your hard work on screen. Another route is to upload to YouTube and designate the video as being 3D.

The following video shows how easy it is to use:

For those fortunate enough to have a 3D viewer, you can enjoy a complement of videos at the Vitrima channel like this one.
