Travelers Can Now Book Through Reader's Digest
Now travelers can book travel services through Reader’s Digest Association (RDA)-affiliated websites via a partnership with the Priceline Partner Network.
Per the partnership, the RDA audience can book a hotel room at more than 200,000 hotels worldwide, book rental cars for cheap, buy airplane tickets through almost all major airlines, receive discounts and complimentary amenities (including free Wi-Fi and breakfast) and save money on air and hotel vacation packages at RDA Travel Centers.
When purchasing airline tickets, consumers have access to seat mapping, different classes of seats and frequent flier number support.
When booking a flight and a hotel room together, travelers can save up to $500.
“Our highly engaged, significant audiences have strong affinities for travel, with surveys showing that 70 percent of the RDA audience sees Reader’s Digest as a credible source for travel information and a majority interested in purchasing travel services on our brand sites,” said Leslie Dukker Doty, Reader’s Digest Association chief marketing officer, per a release. “Our partnership with Priceline Partner Network is a natural fit, creating a mutually beneficial bridge across two highly valued brands while bringing meaningful resources and content that further enhances our readers’ lives.”
The Priceline Partner Network, Priceline.com’s private-label distribution channel, claims to offer more than 100,000 promotional rates to customers.
Taste of Home provides information on food, cooking and hosting. More than 39 million people visit TasteofHome.com and the Taste Digital Community each month.
To book through RDA’s flagship media properties, go to www.rd.com/travelcenter (the RDA magazine website) today, and/or www.tasteofhome.com/travelcenter (the Taste of Home magazine website) beginning Sept. 1.
