Classic Vacations has announced the first partner for the Classic Endorsed Network: ME to WE, which offers travelers volunteer adventures around the world.
The "ME to WE" program has teamed with charity partner Free The Children to organize weeklong "Volunteer Adventures" for visitors to Kenya and India with the goal of being part of sustainable change in communities in the aforementioned areas.
In addition to helping local communities with sustainable development projects, travelers will be immersed in local culture while still being offered the same safety, security and comfortable accommodations Classic Vacations offers all of the company's customers.
Classic Vacations also offers ME to WE travelers perks that include a Classic Exclusive Welcome Pack, pre- and post-stay options and a Classic Exclusive activity at no extra cost-either a visit to the Elephant Orphanage in Kenya or a camel ride to Kumbhalgarh in India.
Director of Corporate and Family Travel for ME to WE Gabrielle Nijdam released a statement:
"Safety is our number-one priority. We began these trips with groups of student volunteers, so the model was built for a secure, fun, meaningful experience from beginning to end, for all ages. ME to WE facilitators and local guides accompany groups at all times, guiding them through their entire trip. Classic Vacations Senior Director of Marketing Bari Jain commented on the volunteer adventures shortly after returning from her first trip:
