Classic Vacations, the luxury travel provider that built its business in Hawaii, just launched a series of pre- and post-cruise packages for 45 port cities in Europe. The company plans to augment the series later in the year with additional packages for ports in Canada, the Caribbean, the U.S., the Middle East and the South Pacific.
The packages are designed to be easily coordinated with cruise departures and arrivals, but could easily be coordinated with any other kind of travel arrangement as well. Packages include components such as transfers, accommodations, excursions and tours.
Although Classic built its business on offering custom-built programs, these pre- and post-cruise packages are designed as pre-set programs that can easily be ordered with a click. Or Classic will customize them if desired by the client.
Classic Vacations is exclusively a wholesaler, selling only through travel agents and not directly to the public, but has an online portal for selling the packages. Travel agents can order the pre-designed packages through Classic's website, or by calling 800-221-3949 and speaking to a Classic Vacations Travel Sales Consultant.
The packages are sold at three levels of value, including Gold, Silver and Bronze. Travel agents can pick from Classic's selection of three-, four- and five-star hotels from the Expedia portfolio.
