Family-Friendly Travel Packages On Tap In Several Caribbean Destinations

This summer some of the Caribbean’s best family destinations are offering travel packages featuring free nights, discounted rates and special services and amenities.
In Nevis, the Nisbet Plantation Beach Club is offering a “Suite Family Savings” package featuring a complimentary connecting room in a Garden Deluxe suite. The free connecting room is provided to travelers who book seven-night stays through Dec. 19.
The Nisbet Plantation property features 36 cottage-style accommodations set across 30 acres. Resort services and amenities include Wi-Fi access, hiker GPS and Vespa scooters. The resort’s Great House doubles as a fine dining venue. The package also features daily breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner and complimentary airport transfers. Summer Garden Deluxe Suite rates start at $551 per day.
The Four Seasons Resort Nevis is offering “Fourth Night Free – Stay Longer” packages to vacationers who book three consecutive nights. The packages feature complimentary airport transfers, daily breakfast for adults and complimentary kids’ menu meals for children age 12 and under. Children also receive complimentary access to the resort’s Kids for all Seasons program.
The Turks & Caicos’ Somerset on Grace Bay is offering a “Great Escape” featuring 15 percent off published rates plus $300 in resort credits to travelers who book stays of three nights or more through December 18.
Guests can use the resort credits toward treatments at the resort’s Spa at the Somerset and for dining and drinks in the Pavilion restaurant, the Luna Sea pool bar and the resort’s weekly beach barbecue. The credits can also be used for watersports and other resort activities.
Somerset at Grace Bay features villa accommodations ranging from one-bedroom 1,400 square foot units to 5,300 square foot, five-bedroom penthouses. All accommodations feature spacious living areas, kitchens with Viking appliances and marble floors and bathrooms, plus in-room Wi-Fi. Every villa opens to private patios or balconies with views of lush tropical gardens, pools or Grace Bay Beach.
Guests may use the $300 resort credit toward treatments at The Spa at The Somerset, fine dining at the Pavilion restaurant, casual fare at LunaSea pool bar or the resort’s popular weekly Beach BBQ, or watersports and other activities. Daily package rates include continental breakfast and strat at $510 (regularly $600) for a one-bedroom Garden View villa accommodating two adults and two children 12 and younger.
Fresh off a multi-million dollar renovation, Saint Lucia’s Capella Marigot Bay Resort has announced an “Opening Offer” providing discounted rates starting at $225 per night for Resort and Bay View rooms and at $275 per night for suite accommodations.
The introductory rates represent a 50 percent savings off the resort’s normal rates and are available through Oct. 31. Capella Marigot Bay features 24-hour access to personal assistants who contact guests prior to arrival and assist in planning a customized itinerary. Resort services also include an airport welcome with luggage handling and transportation; in-room refreshment centers stocked with soft drinks, waters and juice and complimentary Wi-Fi access.
