Have your kids begged you to turn their bedroom into a pineapple under the sea? Do they wish that they lived in Bikini Bottom? Have they asked you to make Krabby Patties for dinner?
If your children are fans of the loveable SpongeBob SquarePants and his best friend Patrick, why not book with Delta Vacations at a resort that combines a beautiful island for mom and dad and a place for the kids to meet their favorite characters.
Located at the beautiful Uvero Alto Beach in the Dominican Republic, the long-awaited Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana opened earlier this year. It has more than 200 guestrooms to accommodate Nickelodeon fans. At this new resort, you can actually make your little one’s dreams come true as they vacation in a ‘pineapple’ villa that includes two bedrooms and three bathrooms. There are other accommodations at the resort to fit all sizes of families who visit.
The kids won’t complain about being bored on this Delta Vacations package as they get to meet SpongeBob SquarePants and other Nickelodeon character favorites, such as Dora the Explorer and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana is one of 250 destinations that are part of Delta Airlines’ Delta Vacations packages. The packages include round-trip air transportation, choice of accommodations, hotel taxes, round trip transfers, luggage handling and more.
Just like at Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana, it’s all about fun for the kids as the kids play at the Aqua Nick Playground and enjoy floating around a lazy river and shooting off water cannons. It’s still all about the kids too at the Just Kiddin’ clubhouse, which is part clubhouse and part artist’s studio. There are a variety of supervised activities and programs for children 4-12 years old.
Don’t worry mom and dad, because this resort hasn’t forgotten about the adults. You won’t be stuck singing the Friendship Song over and over again because you will be too busy enjoying your own entertainment and activities, including a well-deserved pampered in the 14,000 square foot Vassa Spa. Parents can choose to experience the herbal steam room, dry sauna, chromo therapy showers, bubble beds and whirlpool, or book a massage while overlooking the Caribbean Sea. If the kids need some down time, they are also welcome to enjoy some pampering time as well.
When it comes to dining, it might not be the Krusty Krab, but the kids will still love the resort’s Slime Smoothies. Even the pickiest eaters will find something to snack on at the 10 restaurants on the property, which include The Spacewalker Café, Sugarcane, and Zest, which serve up a variety of international delights. Make sure the kids try the signature Cowabunga Dude beverage and the Ralph’s Meatball Samurai at Aqua Bite, which offers kid-friendly dining just steps from the pool.
This is one of those Delta Vacations where the hardest thing about the entire thing will be getting the kids to leave (okay and maybe stop saying ‘Aye Aye Captain!’).
