SITA World Tours entered a strategic partnership with The Women’s Travel Group to bring women’s tours to market under the SITA brand. The partnership marries the expertise of the 80-year old SITA to the specialized knowledge of Phyllis Stoller, president of The Women’s Travel Group, a provider of travel programs for women.
SITA has previously worked with Stoller on exotic itineraries during her tenure as president of the Women’s Travel Club. Stoller says the new SITA programs are insightful, enhanced with speakers and inside visits and will include no “carpet shopping at the guide’s nephew’s shop.” Solo travelers can ask for room shares to cut the singles supplement—an important benefit in the women’s travel market.
