United Vacations proudly announces the launch of comprehensive tour packages to Cuba.
Travel agents and consumers are now able to book one of three educational people-to-people package tour options for the new United Vacations destination. All package components must be selected as applicable under a license to travel to Cuba, which mandates that passengers may only enter the country for professional, educational, humanitarian and religious reasons, as well as for family visits.
United Vacations makes it simple to comply with current travel restrictions by providing the following pre-planned and approved educational itineraries:
• A 5-day trip with a pre-planned itinerary including guided tours through Old Havana, as well as a "Papa Hemingway Day" that brings visitors to the Hemingway House and includes an inside look at the life of Ernest Hemingway in Cuba.
• A 7-day tour, including a local culture consultant that can make dinner and show reservations to assist in developing a full-time schedule of educational and people-to-people activities, and a stay in Varadero to learn about one of the country's top destinations, is also available.
• A FIT (Free Independent Traveler) package, which gives travelers the option to individually choose both the properties they wish to reside in, as well as their tours for each day.

Flights to and from Havana (HAV) are scheduled daily from New York - Newark (EWR), as well as every Saturday to and from Houston George Bush International (IAH). Connecting services are available via United gateways nationwide.
