Norwegian Adds Pre-Cruise Concierge Service for Haven Guests

Norwegian Cruise Line is adding a pre-cruise concierge desk for guests in the luxury suite accommodations called The Haven by Norwegian. The new service, which began operating Nov. 28, helps guests and travel agents make dining and entertainment reservations, book shore excursions, and make spa and salon appointments. The concierge desk also can handle special requests such as pillow preference. When arrangements are made, the concierge desk will send an email confirmation to the travel agent or guest.
“We want to make sure everyone knows what they have available to them onboard, so they don’t have to spend time studying amenities once they get on the ship,” said Camille Olivere, vice president of sales for Norwegian. “This gives them the opportunity to book dining and shore excursions ahead of time, and get them excited about their cruise. We are finding that pre-cruise communication is important in general.” Travel agents are particularly pleased with this new service. Olivere added.
The Haven is currently featured on Norwegian Gem, Pearl, Jade, Jewel and Norwegian Epic. Norwegian’s two new ships, Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway, will also feature The Haven by Norwegian when they launch in April 2013 and April 2014. The concierge desk is available 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET Monday through Friday and has its own dedicated phone number at 855-NCL-HAVEN.
