Norwegian Names WTH Elite Travel Partner of the Year

Norwegian Cruise Line has named Wilmington, Mass.-based World Travel Holdings (WTH), which includes CruiseOne and Cruises Inc., as its 2011 Elite Travel Partner of the Year. World Travel Holdings was chosen for its continued commitment to the success of Norwegian Cruise Line, their overall revenue, year-over-year growth and loyalty to Norwegian’s brand, according to the cruise line.

The agency is also a member of the line’s President’s Club Elite, which consists of top-performing travel partners. World Travel Holdings receives the opportunity to sail in one of Norwegian’s 5,000-square-foot Garden Villas, located in the Haven by Norwegian at the top of the ship on the Norwegian Gem, Pearl, Jade and Jewel.

Norwegian also recognized travel partners in six other categories. The Home-Based Agency of the Year is Avoya Travel/American Express of Miami. The Franchise Agency of the Year is Cruise Planners/American Express of Coral Springs, Fla. The Online Travel Agency of the Year is Expedia Inc. of Bellevue, Wash. The Retail Agency of the Year is FC USA Inc.-Liberty Travel, GOGO Vacations and DiscountCruises.com of Ramsey, N.J. And the Consortia Partner of the Year is Virtuoso of Fort Worth, Texas. These agencies receive a cruise for two in a balcony stateroom onboard Norwegian Epic.
