NTA, UTA Preparing for Travel Exchange Conference, Trade Show
Four companies signed deals with NTA, formerly known as the National Tour Association, to sponsor events to the inaugural Travel Exchange, set for Jan. 20 to 24 in Orlando. The Travel Exchange will be a conference and trade show for both NTA and the United Motorcoach Association (UTA). It will be the first time the two associations have combined their conferences. The event is expected to draw 4,000 attendees.
Group Sales Box Office/Broadway.com signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with NTA to bring live musical acts from Broadway to perform during the Group Sales Box Office/Broadway.com Luncheon on Monday, Jan. 21. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will sponsor the Icebreaker event on Sunday evening, Jan 20. Attendees will preview the Space Shuttle Atlantis Exhibit, which doesn’t open until summer 2013. Norwegian Cruise Line will introduce the new NETGROUP program to tour operators during its sponsored luncheon on Jan. 23. NASCAR Sports Grille will host delegates for a party at its signature property on Universal CityWalk on Wednesday evening, Jan. 23.
More than 50 other companies and destinations have signed on to sponsor other facets of Travel Exchange. Founded in 1951, NTA is an association for professionals serving travelers to, from and within North America.
