All-Inclusive Atlantis? You Better Believe It!

All-Inclusive Atlantis? You Better Believe It!

Well, Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas has certainly given me quite a lot to talk about lately. It started with the compilation of the first two of TI’s Top Ten lists, “Magnificent Megaresorts” and “Coolest Kids Clubs,” and picked up steam with the agent incentive as our April Supplier of the Month. More momentum followed with the $250 Instant Savings and free breakfast and dinner for kids promotion, and now, they’ve blown me away with their latest offer: an all-inclusive package for groups.

I couldn’t believe it, either, but at this mythology-inspired resort, reality is meant to be suspended. For group celebrations—that’s any non-wedding social or leisure groups, from family gatherings to incentives—of ten rooms or more staying three nights or longer between Aug. 24 to Dec.16 for the next three years can opt to make their legendary getaway truly epic.

What does that include, exactly? It’s so good, I can’t even wait to tell you.

First of all, you’ll get the little luxuries and then some that Atlantis, Paradise Island is known for. Accommodations at the classic Coral or Royal Towers; basic Wi-Fi for up to four devices per room; resort taxes and gratuities; on-site shuttle to get to and from all corners of this magical land; and access to fun stuff like the fitness center, tennis court, lap-pool Climber’s Rush, Aquaventure water park, The Dig, all marine exhibits, and daily fish feedings which are all part and parcel to the experience. To go with all the watery attractions, chairs and towels for the pool and beach are also included with this deal.

You’ll get entertainment in select areas, including first-run movies at the Atlantis Theater, plus gaming lessons, and reading in the Atlantis Library for when you’re feeling more low-key. You’ll also get a great discount on dolphin encounters, spa services, and a whopping half off published green fees and complimentary club rental.

That’s all well and good for things you can enjoy on your own, but for together time, they’re also providing white and teal basic linens and basic staging, plus a discount for audiovisual equipment purchased through Zamar for groups opting to replace a meal period with a banquet. This choice comes with a select menu at—get this!—no additional charge for parties of 35 guests or more.

And you know that menu’s going to be good when the included restaurants are already out of this world. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provide plenty of sustenance to get your party on when over a dozen restaurants are yours to pick from. Eat at Bahamian Club, Casa D’Angelo, Chop Stix, Marina Pizzeria, the Marketplace, Murray’s Deli, Olives, Seagrapes, Virgils, or any of the other outdoor outlets, except for Cain and Cascades.

And, let’s be honest, you won’t really miss the exclusions when you also have access to deluxe liquor brands and wine at the Beach Tower and Coral Tower Lobby Bars; Bahamian Club, Casa D’Angelo Bar, and Chop Stix in the evenings; plus Dragon’s Bar, Olives Bar, Plato’s Bar, and Virgil’s Bar.

With all this on offer, there are only two things you need to remember when you book a group trip here, and all of them come from your mama, I’m sure: 1) Clean your plate! This food is bound to be delicious. And 2) put a half hour between the great gustation and water-based good times. Because when everything’s included, the only thing that can cramp your group’s style is a good old-fashioned cramp, and with so much to do, “ain’t nobody got time for that!”
