Committed to giving back, Couples Resorts is always striving to find a way to help those in need in Jamaica.
Couples Negril recently saw an area of need at The Llandilo School of Special Education and took action.
According to Couples Resorts blogger Carrie, "on a weekly basis when they have their Heads of Department Meetings, managers are encouraged to make a small contribution of Ja$100..less than US$1 to the school's breakfast program."
Additionally, Couples Negril aids the school with filtered drinking water.
Several students were attending the school without having any breakfast. The guidance department was able to set up a breakfast program serving once a week through the help of two other groups.
Thanks to the assistance of Couples Negril, now breakfast can be served three days per week.
The Llandilo School of Special Education is located outside the town of Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland, Jamaica. Per Couples Resorts blogger Carrie, the school "caters to the intellectual, emotional, physical and vocational needs of children and youth ages 6-21 with intellectual disabilities, on the moderate and moderate to severe spectrum."
