For a unique, fresh flavor, you'll want to try breadfruit. No, it's not just fruit on top of bread. It's a savory fruit with a tropical flavor that you can boil or stuff and dip in different sauces.
And last but not least, try some callaloo fruit on your next visit to Saint Lucia. Chefs take the leaves of callaloo plant that is found all around the islands of the Caribbean, and they add in "okra, coconut milk, onions, potatoes and garlic" as well as some type of seafood or seasoned meat.
