Blanche is a female manatee that was rescued in 2014. Her story has a wonderful ending as she has now been returned to the wild.

SeaWorld Cares, and thanks to their efforts, Blanche went from bottle feeding at the Manatee Rehabilitation Center to being released in the waters of Port St. John, Florida.

She was found swimming all alone in the Indian River, weighing only 48 pounds.

Now Blanche weighs a whopping 775 pounds. An astonishing transformation and such a remarkable story of recovery.

With her release, she was given a tracking belt, which per a SeaWorld blogger, "will allow the Sea to Shore Alliance to monitor her continuing success and track her movements in the wild."
