It's All TRUE: Major TRUE Campaign Underway!

CCRA is putting all of its focus for the next few months into helping the industry better understand the TRUE Code and what it means for travel professionals. With so much misconception in the industry about who CCRA is and what our goals are, it was time to make this happen!
More than two years after the acquisition of both OSSN and the TRUE code, we've learned a lot about the needs of both our member agents and the industry as a whole, and it's become clear that while many agents find happiness and profitability in being a hosted agent, there are still many out there who prefer more control over their model.
While in many cases that means more hard work to get brand recognition, supplier attention and of course leads, this hasn't deterred them from wanting a business of their very own and building it exactly how they see fit. We feel that with that great effort and responsibility comes the greatest reward, and we want to do everything we can to support these entrepreneurs.
CCRA will continue to provide valuable products and services to all our members who are hosted, work with other consortia and are still considering the direction they want to take with their business. We will continue to offer CCRATravel.com as one of the most sought-after, widely used hotel booking tools on the planet, and of course we will continue to be the primary sponsor of the Travel Agent Forums. Our portfolio of events is growing each year with a record number of regional PowerSolutions events on tap, as well as more supplier engagements than ever before.

So, no matter what your business model or your need, we're going to continue to work as hard as we can to re-align and continue to optimize what was OSSN so that it provides a more modernized set of tools, more experienced and reputable partners with which to work, and the most qualified and professional local leadership in all markets. The industry is only seeing the very beginnings of where we are taking CCRA.
So when we ask if agents are ready to declare their independence, we want to be clear on just how much effort that requires - it's not the same as being hosted. It's a completely different road. But we want to make sure we are there every step of the way. How are we different from a host agency?
At CCRA we don’t just sell travel, we sell connections. With TRUE, we don't get involved in the transactions you conduct, we've built the program on creating opportunities for you to seek out and connect with the suppliers you choose. We pave the way by working with these suppliers to ensure they always recognize you directly and that they're providing the best possible service to you and your clients.
We scour the industry for the best suppliers and bring them to you. You have hundreds of suppliers and thousands of products you can choose to use or not. It’s an open marketplace that gives you the flexibility to choose who and what you want to work with, and be recognized directly with your TRUE code. You set your own commissions with the suppliers you want to work with.
Requirements for Obtaining The TRUE Code & Accreditation:
You must be a sole proprietor and/or incorporated business entity.
You must be willing to pass a background screening if needed.
You must satisfy all seller-of-travel requirements for your state.
States which currently require a bond and seller of travel license are Florida, Hawaii, Nevada and California.
You must be able to demonstrate at least 6 months of travel selling experience.
You must have 3 business references to support your application.
You must provide proof of an active business bank account in good standing.
