In New Orleans, there's something amazing around every cobblestone corner.

Celebrating its 300th birthday in 2018, New Orleans is rolling out the red carpet and creating special experiences around its past.

Prospect.4 (Nov. 18, 2017 - Feb. 25, 2018)

This city-wide event highlights contemporary art. This year's party aligns with the Tricentennial and finds inspiration in the lotus plant.

Luna Fête (Dec. 6, 2017 - Dec. 9, 2017)

Luna Fete combines modern art, light and technology to create a beautiful spectacle on top of the city's architecture. This free, multi-day celebration is unlike any other.

Rockin' New Year's Eve Official Countdown to Tricentennial (Dec. 31, 2017)

A Rockin' New Year's Eve by Dick Clark Productions, celebrate with a concert at 9 p.m. and fireworks on the Mississippi River at midnight.

King's Day Celebration, Fireworks and Kick-Off to Tricentennial Mardi Gras (Jan. 6, 2017)

The first day of the Tricentennial Carnival Season will kick off with Mardi Gras themed fireworks on the Mississippi river at 9 p.m.

The Historic New Orleans Collection's Exhibition "New Orleans, the Founding Era" (Feb. 27, 2018 - May 27, 2018)

A multifaceted exploration of the city's first few decades and its earliest inhabitants. Admission is free.

Up From the Streets Tricentennial Concert (March 10, 2018)

The concert will focus on New Orleans being the cradle of jazz. Local and international musicians will tell the story of the city's unique musical history and global influence.

Tricentennial NOLA Navy Week and Tall Ships of America (April 19, 2018 - April 25, 2018)

Navy ships from the U.S., Canada and around the globe will be in New Orleans for a week-long festival, including free ship tours and a cook-off between the ships.
