    A love so deep it became a legend. Ricardo and Gisele, a young couple whose devotion to each other has become a local legend at Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa, inspired a timeless love story. Sandals Resorts is excited to announce its new “Legends of Love” campaign, celebrating the foundation of the brand: romance. We are all inspired by stories of love. Tales that move us, enlighten our senses and open our hearts.

    Ricardo and Gisele’s timeless love story is one of unforgettable romance, which sheds light on the beauty of island life. Gisele was a beautiful island maiden who falls hopelessly in love with Ricardo, a dashing young lieutenant in the royal navy. On the eve of their wedding Ricardo is called away to war. Years pass and Ricardo does not return. One day, Gisele receives a letter and it states that Ricardo has fallen in battle. Crushed, Gisele vows to never give up hope, carving heartfelt messages into rocks and ringing a bell along the shores of Dickenson Bay. When all hope seemed lost, Gisele spots a small ship on the horizon. It was her beloved Ricardo. The couple, reunited at last, buried Gisele’s messages in the sand, their wish was to remind others to never give up on hope or true love.

    In celebration of Ricardo and Gisels’s great love, now through Nov. 30, fans of Sandals can share their own love story and photos on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for a chance to win a four-night Luxury Included Vacation at Sandals Resorts. So go on, tell us what moves you, how you met or what strengthens your love.

    Don’t forget to join Sandals for a Twitter party on Nov. 19, where you will have a chance to win one of five additional four-night stays to Sandals Grande Antigua. To enter, consumers must use the hashtag #LegendsofLove and tag @SandalsResorts.  Throughout the campaign, a total of 10 trips will be given away on the following dates: Enter between now and Oct. 30 for a chance to win a trip to any Sandals Resort. Winners will be announced on Nov. 6. At the Nov. 19 Twitter party, five resort stays will be awarded to the Sandals Grande Antigua. The Twitter event will take place from 3 to 4:30 p.m., EST.

    With consumers taken care of, we can’t forget our producers. In honor of Sandals’ long standing love affair with the travel agent community, the Legends of Love campaign also encourages agents throughout the U.S. and Canada to share their stories of when they fell in love with Sandals.

    To enter, agents will simply need to use the hashtag #TravelAgentLoveStory and post their love story in the “Sandals and Beaches Resorts Love Travel Agents” Facebook Group. By participating, agents will be entered for a chance to win a four-night Luxury Included Vacation at any Sandals Resort or specifically Sandals Grande Antigua. A total of 10 trips will be given away through Dec. 28.

    There are five chances left to win a trip: Oct. 26, Nov. 16, Nov. 23, Dec. 14 and Dec. 28.
