A female manatee was unfortunately stuck in a storm drain in Jacksonville, Florida, but thankfully city workers acted fast and were able to rescue the 950-pound mammal.

SeaWorld Cares detailed that the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission helped transport the manatee to SeaWorld Orlando, where she underwent a "health evaluation including, blood samples and hydration."

The manatee has since moved to a rehabilitation pool and is showing signs of improvement.

SeaWorld has helped rescue several different animals over the years and this isn't its first experience in helping a manatee. Back in February of 2015, SeaWorld helped "free 19 manatees from a storm drain in Satellite Beach, Florida."
