Celebrity Chef Roy Yamaguchi
He's a celebrated pan-Asian chef and international culinary pioneer and his gourmet pan-Asian style dishes will soon be available onboard MSC Cruises next-generation new build, MSC Seaside - one of our most innovative and revolutionary ships. While he operates restaurants as far away as Japan and Guam, most of Chef Yamaguchi's culinary chefs-d'oeuvres can be discovered all throughout the USA, where he singlehandedly operates 20 restaurants with another six in Hawaii.
Chef Yamaguchi joining forces with MSC is more than just your usual collaboration. He will be personally involved in conceptualizing and designing every element of the new pan-Asian restaurant, with specialties like sushi, sashimi, and raw bar, as well as an area with teppanyaki grills which I personally love!
And it gets better! Chef Yamaguchi is not only going to be designing the menu, he will be heavily instrumental in hand-picking every aspect of the new eateries from the ambiance of the space, the décor to the chinaware, the wine selections that are perfectly paired with his dishes, to even the music. He's even going to choose the type of paper stock to be used for the menus. We are talking about the ultimate immersive culinary partnership at sea. And definitely one that has to be experienced up close and in person.

Two-starred Michelin Chef Carlo Cracco
You know you possess an extraordinary gastronomic talent when you're the owner of the first Italian restaurant to be awarded Michelin stars and on top of that, have a restaurant listed in the World's 50 Best Restaurants.Two-starred Michelin chef Carlo Cracco is that guy and he is truly a leader in the new generation of progressive Italian cuisine. Since MSC Cruises began this fascinating collaboration in 2013, we thought it would be pretty awesome to implement new special Christmas and New Year menus for MSC Cruises' guests. So expect to experience something different on your next holiday cruise vacation with MSC.
Plus, Chef Cracco plans to create an exclusive recipe for the Gala night menu featured onboard MSC's ships. And what's even more exciting is the new cooking experience for the MSC Cruises DOREMI kids clubs that will be available this summer.
Award-winning Pastry Chef Jean-Phillipe Maury
He was crowned the Best Pastry Chef in France and won a gold medal at the World Pastry Team Championship in 2002 and 2004 and has by far, the most decadent and delicious tasting desserts ever! French chocolatier and pastry chef Jean-Philippe Maury is the best there is. If you have a sweet tooth like I do, you will fall in 'yum' with Chef Maury's sweet creations which are now available aboard MSC Divina.
And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, there's more sweet discoveries to look forward to aboard our next-generation Meraviglia ships because Chef Maury plans to create a gourmet ice cream parlor and crèperie in the impressive indoor promenade on the new Meraviglia ships.

Chinese Pioneer Chef Jereme Leung
Chef Jereme Leung is globally recognized for his contemporary interpretation of Chinese cuisine. We partnered with this acclaimed Chinese chef not only because he is brilliant but also because he has dishes that remain true to the time-honored Chinese cooking techniques. If you love dim sum, we'll have that. If you can't get enough of wok cooking, MSC will have that too. Chef Leung plans to bring his contemporary Chinese cuisine to MSC Lirica, the first MSC Cruises ship to deploy out of China in May 2016.
Eataly Steakhouse & Ristorante Italia by Eataly
We know that good food is not only about delicious flavors and special seasonings. It's about a lifestyle of health, happiness, togetherness, quality, discovery and the love of all. We partnered with Eataly because this unique company shares that same philosophy to good food with part of their mission statement proclaiming that, "Good food brings all of us together … We believe that one of the greatest sources of joy is what happens around the dinner table. By creating and offering the best products, we improve our own lives and bring added value to yours."
When cruising aboard MSC Divina & MSC Preziosa, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy some of Eataly's dishes including fresh pasta, Slow Food Presidia artisanal fine foods and authentic Italian steak and seafood delicacies, including our renowned 2 lb. Fiorentina steak. My personal favorite is the Afeltra Gragnano Spaghettone made with delectable Italian mozzarella and basil. After one bite of the fresh mozzarella fused with the decadent flavors of rich tomato sauce, it was as if my taste buds were whisked away to a charming culinary paradise in the heart of Italy. Definitely a must-try!
