Get Out of Voicemail Hell!
If you are looking for a radical innovation that can improve customer satisfaction and unleash profitability for your travel agency or your travel company I have one for you: answer your phone! I know voicemail is a valuable technology that can help you manage your phone traffic, if you have an unmanageable amount of traffic. Well used, it can certainly be an asset to a business. But like many tools it is often not well used.
Okay, so everyone has voicemail, right? You’d be a fool not to have it. You’d be left behind like a relic of the mid-20th century, a doddering luddite, a technophobe. You’d have to screen all those solicitations yourself. And if your system offers the ability to put in 10 different “options,” you would be wasting its capacity if you didn’t use them all, right? If you have trouble thinking of 10 options, just keep thinking. You’ll come up with something.
