Will You Win a Travvy This Year?
Are you going to be in the audience when Travvy winners are announced in January 2016? It might seem far off right now, but voting is set to begin sooner than you might think. Travel agents from all over the United States will consider only those suppliers and destinations that enter before the final deadline in July. They’ll weigh in on the best suppliers and destinations from all over world, so don’t miss your chance to be a Travvy 2016 winner.
Why Travel Agents?
Our company started by focusing on travel agents back in 2002, a time when many had left agents for dead. We knew the pundits were wrong and that travel agents would continue to thrive. The sentiment has finally aligned with reality, as consumer media outlets trumpet the benefits of travel agents in their publications, on their websites and in their television shows. As a company that started with a focus on travel agents, and one that has never left agents, we feel honored to seek their advice, as their clients do, when it comes to choosing the Travvy Award winners.
Tens of thousands of travel agents will vote and share their thoughts on the best suppliers and destinations across a wide variety of categories. They represent tens of millions of travelers, making this the most prestigious award in all of travel.
Those categories have been expanded as we move into the second year of the Travvys, giving those who enter more opportunities to be recognized for their excellence.
What a Travvy Win Means
The first year ever for the Travvys resulted in a national TV appearance on Fox News that reached millions of viewers. What a Travvy means to the traveler was explained and some of the winners were highlighted.
A follow up column to millions more was featured on FoxNews.com, listing all of the winners of the 2015 Travvy Awards. And that was just the beginning. Dozens of articles have been written and distributed on more than 2,500 consumer travel sites, reaching millions more as they consider their travel choices.
2015 Travvy winners have use of the Travvy logo in their marketing materials, in their press releases and on their sites, for instance, and can display their award at key customer points. This reinforces the high standards by which they operate and why customers made the right choice in selecting that particular product or destination.
The Catch- You Have To Enter Now
There is a catch though; you have to take a few moments to enter if you are going to be a part of the process. It only takes a few minutes to review the categories, decide on where you’ll enter, and get your entry processed.
Don’t be the client that called me last fall, upset that they had missed the deadline.
