PATA, Guangdong Partner to Promote Tourism Industry Expo

The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Tourism Administration of China’s Guangdong Province. The objective of the MoU is to strengthen cooperation in the sharing of research, intelligence, marketing development strategy, training, and to support the China (Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo, held annually in Guangzhou. The MoU was signed by João Manuel Costa Antunes, vice chairman of PATA, and Yang Rongshen, director-general of GDTA, during the 2011 Guangdong Tourism and Culture Festival in Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, China, on Nov. 5.
