Reed Travel Exhibitions, organizer of the travel events International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM), ILTM Asia and ILTM Americas, launched ILTM Africa, a luxury travel event focused exclusively on Africa. The event will be staged in Cape Town, South Africa, in April 2013. It will help travel agents and specialist tour operators meet with suppliers from Africa. Buyers will come from around the world including the U.S., Brazil and Europe. ILTM will pre-qualify buyers and exhibitors. Pre-scheduled appointments will be arranged on a one-to-one basis.

Alison Gilmore, ILTM exhibition director, said, “Reed has been exploring opportunities in Africa for some time and because of the sheer size of the continent, the diversity of its luxury travel offering with natural beauty, world-class facilities, adventure and wildlife experiences, it makes sense to take our global brand, already on three continents, to a new one, Africa.”

The first ILTM show in the Americas is scheduled for Oct. 1-3 in the resort destination of Mayakoba on Mexico’s Riviera Maya.
