Rosewood Hotels and Resorts will make its debut in China in the summer of 2013, with the opening of the Rosewood Beijing. The company has ambitious expansion plans for Asia and the hotel is the first of 10 new properties the Texas-based group plans to open in Asia over the next five years.

The 279-room property is located in the capital’s Chaoyang business district opposite the CCTV tower. Facilities include seven restaurants and lounges, including the Rosewood Sense Spa, featuring five suites designed for overnight stays, and 33,000 square feet of meeting space.

The property will have more landscaped outdoor space than any other hotel in Beijing with garden terraces and balconies integrated into the design of many of the restaurants, recreational facilities and function areas.
