Sea Cloud Cancels Egypt, Heads to Caribbean Instead

March 28, 2011 12:45 PM

Due to ongoing political uncertainty in Egypt, Sea Cloud Cruises said the Sea Cloud will change its route as of Nov. 16, cancelling its Egypt and the Red Sea season and heading for the Caribbean instead. The Sea Cloud will make a trans-Atlantic crossing from Lisbon to Antigua and spend the winter months in the Lesser Antilles.

Until Nov. 16, all cruises by Sea Cloud remain unchanged. The Sea Cloud will spend the summer and autumn in the Western and Eastern Mediterranean as well as the Adriatic. The Mediterranean season concludes with a cruise from Larnaca, Cyprus, to Piraeus in Greece Nov. 16 to 23. From Dec. 2 to 18, the windjammer will cross the Atlantic following the route taken by Columbus. For more information, visit www.seacloud.com.
