SEADREAM naturally appeals to upscale travelers who can afford a luxury experience and don’t want to go to the same ports of call as the mega-cruise ships. Many of its guests are experienced cruisers who tired of the more structured atmosphere on many big ships. But, because of its flexible nature, SEADREAM might also appeal to veteran travelers who have shied away from traditional cruising. Because of the vessels’ small size, SEADREAM is often used for full-ship charters for corporate and incentive groups, and even family reunions.
The luxury and flexibility of SEADREAM should be emphasized when talking to experienced travelers. SEADREAM also strives to gives its guests an intimate experience in destinations, stopping at ports of call that are not found on itineraries of big cruise ships. For example, the company recently launched a new South America program. The ships also sail in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. SEADREAM is also the winner of many prestigious awards, such as: Condé Nast Traveler Gold List - top for Service; Condé Nast Traveler Cruise Poll - Best of the Best for Crew and Service; Travel+Leisure - World’s Best Award for Service; and Berlitz – Utterly Exclusive outscoring all other 5 star vessels.
SeaDream Yacht Club operates two identical 112-passenger “mega-yachts”. The line promotes a casual yet upscale yachting experience. That means no formal wear, an unstructured onboard atmosphere, and even the flexibility to stay in a particular port longer or overnight so guests may enjoy the nightlife of the special yachting ports on SeaDream’s itineraries.
SeaDream features open seating in the Dining Salon or Al Fresco, and is inclusive with open bar with select premium brands, wine with lunch and dinner, gratuities, water toys from the yacht’s marina and more, included in the fare. While there’s no formal dress code, passengers tend to dress in a resort casual, or as SeaDream refers to it “yacht casual”, style. All staterooms have ocean views and feature flat-screen TVs, CD and DVD systems, marble-lined bathrooms, Bvlgari® amenities and luxury linens. Yacht Club Staterooms average 195 square feet, you may also select a Commodore Suite averaging 390 square feet, The Admiral Suite, a gracious 375 Square feet with separate living and dining areas and 1 1/2 baths or the lavishly appointed, 447 Square feet, Owner’s Suite. The 4,300-ton SeaDream I and SeaDream II are privately owned by Norwegian entrepreneur Atle Brynestad: Founder, Owner, Chairman and CEO. Robert W. Lepisto, President, has been part of the original SeaDream Yacht Club team since its inception in September 2001. “It’s yachting, not cruising, There is a difference.” defines SeaDream’s mission. Providing a casual yachting experience that promises to exceed guests’ expectations is provided by the award-winning crew of 95.
