Signature Travel Network Adds Eight New Members

Signature Travel Network has added eight new members whose gross annual sales total more than $130 million. This means Signature now has 205 member agencies with 385 retail locations in the U.S. and Canada, and their combined sales are more than $5 billion.

The new member are Brown & Keene Travel, Dallas, Texas; Crown's Adventures at Seas, Metairie, La.; Jacaranda Travel, Plantation, Fla.; Malcolm Travel Agency, Inc., Baton Rouge, La.; Mann Travels, Charlotte, N.C.; South Beach Cruises, Miami, Fla.; Touraid Travel, Plattsburgh, N.Y.; and TravelSmiths, Inc., Point Pleasant, N.J.

Brown and Keene opened in 1979 as a personnel placement firm. After 20 years in the personnel business, the company moved into travel. It now specializes in luxury cruises, escorted cruises and escorted land tours.

Crown's Adventures at Seas focuses on cruising out of the Gulf of Mexico and group travel. It plans to use Signature to broaden its market reach. Jacaranda Travel has been a full service travel agency since 1973 and does both corporate and leisure travel. Malcolm Travel Agency has been in business for 54 years and does a mix of land, cruise and business travel.

For more than 30 years, Mann Travels has been serving travelers throughout the Carolinas, offering personalized service in combination with the best value for consumers’ travel dollar. South Beach Cruises is a cruise-only agency that has been in business since the 1990s. Touraid Travel, Inc. is a leisure travel company that specializes in putting vacation brands into membership reward, customer loyalty and employee benefit programs. TravelSmiths, Inc., serves both business and leisure travelers.
