Silversea Cruises COO Kenneth W. Watson has left that position but is taking on the role of “advisor,” reporting to CEO Enzo Visone, who is based at the company headquarters in Monaco, the company said. His departure comes a few months after Ellen Bettridge assumed a new role as president-the Americas of Silversea. Bettridge also will report to Visone now.

Based in the company’s Fort Lauderdale office, Watson was responsible for all of Silversea’s worldwide sales and marketing operations and for overseeing the departments of revenue management and performance, reservations and air/sea. Before joining Silversea in April 2009, he was executive vice president for the Regent and Carlson companies, operating in the cruise, travel and hotel businesses.
