Spirit Unveils Seasonal Service Expansion Starting in November

Spirit Airlines said it is adding nonstop service between Tampa and Chicago. Daily nonstop seasonally service between Tampa International Airport and Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport starts Nov. 8, 2012 and runs through April 24, 2013.

Spirit also announced it nonstop service to three new cities from Minneapolis-St. Paul, including Dallas/Fort Worth, Fort Lauderdale and Fort Myers. Daily nonstop seasonal service between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Fort Lauderdale starts Nov. 8, 2012 and runs through April 24, 2013. Daily nonstop seasonal service between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Fort Myers starts Nov. 8, 2012 and runs through April 24, 2013. Spirit will offer four weekly nonstop flights between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) beginning April 25, 2013, with service increasing to daily on June 13, 2013.

Meanwhile, Spirit is doubling the number of cities it serves from Fort Myers Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) this winter by adding nonstop service to three new cities, including Boston, Dallas/Fort Worth and Minneapolis-St. Paul. Daily nonstop seasonal service between Fort Myers and Boston’s Logan International Airport starts November 8, 2012 and runs through April 24, 2013. Spirit will offer nonstop seasonal service between Fort Myers and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport with three weekly flights from Nov. 8, 2012 through April 24, 2013. Daily nonstop seasonal service between Fort Myers and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport starts Nov. 8, 2012 and runs through April 24, 2013.

Finally, Spirit said it is adding service between Phoenix-Mesa and Chicago. Daily nonstop seasonally service between Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport starts Nov, 8, 2012 and runs through April 24, 2013.
