Vancouver is a coastal seaport city on the mainland of British Columbia, Canada. The city's proximity to the mountains, as well as oceanfront beaches, offers vacationers a wide range of activities and opportunities during their stay. Vancouver offers a fresh perspective on what it means to visit a city -- hiking without leaving the downtown peninsula, having lunch at a busy waterfront market, spending the afternoon on a mountain watching wildlife, and dining and dancing the night away in one of the city's trendy neighborhoods.
