Travel Leaders Group Names Gibbs Franchise Development Manager
Travel Leaders Franchise Group has named Joan Gibbs as franchise development manager. In her position, Gibbs will be responsible for assisting member agencies in growing their businesses with Travel Leaders’ assistance and tools.
As a 30-year travel industry veteran, Gibbs has an extensive background in luxury hotel sales and marketing. Her previous position was with the Jumeirah Group, which she initially joined in 2004 to spearhead Jumeirah’s first sales effort in North America for all market segments. Beginning in 2006, she specialized in sales for travel management companies, consortia and luxury travel networks in the Americas for Jumeirah.
She began her career in 1982 with Forte and Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts in senior sales management roles in London, Morocco, Bahrain, Canada and the United States.
