Travel Leaders is holding its 2012 International Summit, which is its major networking extravaganza of the year, in Dubrovnik, Croatia, April 20 to 22. Croatia was recently named by Travel Leaders members (franchisees) as the “top up-and-coming” European destination they’re booking for 2012.
Croatia’s Minister of Tourism Veljko Ostojic will officially welcome Travel Leaders to the group’s 13th Annual International Summit. The meeting will feature in-depth exploration and immersion education of the city that author George Bernard Shaw called, “the Pearl of the Adriatic.”
Travel Leaders’ 2012 International Summit marks the first time the annual event has been hosted in the Balkans. Previous international summits have been in London, Hong Kong, Paris, Barcelona, Budapest, Berlin, Jerusalem and Sydney, among others.
Each International Summit provides Travel Leaders attendees with the ultimate in insider exclusive experiences. Past summits have featured a private tour of the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican, white-glove Arabian Nights dinner and camel rides in the deserts outside Dubai, dinner at Berlin’s Reichstag, an insider’s look at the Dead Sea Scrolls at Jerusalem’s Israel Museum and, most recently in 2011, an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour and dinner at Sydney’s Opera House.
Registration for the International Summit is $450 per person, based on double occupancy. The registration fee includes three nights at the Excelsior Hotel -- which offers views of Dubrovnik’s walled city -- plus all of the exclusive events and private tours specially arranged for Travel Leaders (optional tours are not included), along with all taxes, gratuities and transfers for events and tours.
