Travelocity Business Unveils Enhancement to “Hold Trip” Feature

Travelocity Business said it now features an enhanced Hold Trip feature that notifies travelers who have airline tickets on hold when they need to reconfirm and ticket their reservation before it expires. Travelers also are informed of schedule changes as a result of airlines cancelling held flights or changing the last date to issue a ticket for the reserved itinerary.

Hold Trip reviews both online and offline held reservations looking for additional messages generated by the airlines and sends a targeted, content-rich email communication to customers when they need it to make a decision to reconfirm and ticket their reservation. As airlines continue to lessen the amount of time reservations can be held without ticketing, Hold Trip provides invaluable information, allowing travelers to reserve their preferred flights and ticket just in time.

“Our customers rely on us to provide vital information and assist them throughout the booking process,” said Yannis Karmis, president of Travelocity Business. “Hold Trip’s latest enhancement will assist travelers even further, ensuring their booking experience continues to be seamless and efficient.”
