Tropicana Las Vegas Names Wade President, Chief Operating Officer

Tropicana Las Vegas Inc. has appointed Daniel Wade as president and chief operating officer. A 37-year veteran and leader in the gaming industry, Wade primarily built his reputation with the MGM Grand organization, where he held several leadership positions, most notably as president and chief operating officer of the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. Prior to MGM, he held leadership positions at the Desert Inn Hotel and Casino, Harrah's properties in Reno and Atlantic City, and the Maxim Hotel and Casino. He most recently served as chief operating officer for ELAD IDB LV LLC, where he led the design and development efforts for The Plaza Hotel Las Vegas.
