October 06, 2010 11:22 PM

United Airlines is introducing new menu options for customers on p.s. flights -- between New York-JFK and Los Angeles or San Francisco -- including a selection of sweet and savory brunch items and sparkling wine.

The two specialty brunch options are available to customers in United Economy who pre-order 72 hours before departure at www.united.com. The first includes a quiche entrée, a fresh fruit plate, a cheese plate with dried fruit, a croissant with jam, salmon over cucumber dill salad and sparkling wine. The second includes a tomato and mozzarella sandwich entrée, shrimp cocktail, a cheese plate with dried fruit, Israeli couscous salad, Ghirardelli chocolate and sparkling wine. Customers may purchase either brunch option for $24.99.

Customers in United Economy may continue to purchase a variety of snacks and fresh food offerings onboard from the Choice Menu selections. Customers flying United’s p.s. service also have access to Gogo Inflight Internet service. For more information, visit www.united.com.
