August 26, 2012 9:59 PM

American, Delta, JetBlue, United, US Airways, Frontier and other carriers have waived change fees for passengers scheduled to fly to southern Florida and the Gulf Coast area, which are being impacted by Tropical Storm Isaac.

For the moment, airlines are focused on passengers heading to Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando, Sarasota, Tampa and West Palm Beach, Fla., though that is expected to include cities and towns in the Florida Panhandle and the Gulf Coast, including New Orleans. Most airlines are waiving change fees to Florida for passengers scheduled to travel Aug. 24-Aug. 28.
