U.S. Virgin Islands Tourism Department Seeks Public Relations Firm

The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism is seeking to hire a national public relations firm ahead of the 2012-13 winter travel season. The agency issued a request for proposals Thursday for a “qualified public relations firms as the U.S. Virgin Islands government strengthens efforts to position the territory as a premier tourism destination in the United States and the Caribbean,” according to a Department of Tourism statement. Proposals are being accepted by the agency’s department of property and procurement through July 17, 2012.
