Wyndham Hotel Group opened the Tryp by Wyndham Hotel Bogota Embajada, the company’s second location in Colombia and its 100th in Latin America. The hotel is located within the new Capital Towers complex of retail shops, commercial space and restaurants and is near the United States Embassy, the city’s convention and exhibition center and other businesses and attractions.

Accommodations feature complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access, 37-inch LED televisions, refrigerators and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city, plus oversized family rooms with bunk beds for children and separate large beds for adults.

Additional services include complimentary airport shuttle service, free wireless Internet throughout the hotel and a 24-hour business center. There are meeting rooms accommodating up to 100 guests, and a fitness center scheduled to be completed by the end of 2012 will offer a pool, sauna and hot tubs. An on-site Gastro Bar serves a daily breakfast buffet, international tapas and a selection of wine, cocktails and beer.
