Officials in Venice have provided new information on the future tourist tax beginning January 16, 2023, as an effort to minimize the number of daytrippers heading to the historic city. Part of this new information is a scale in tax ranging from 3-10 euros, depending on how many entry requests are received for a particular day. The more popular the day, the more expensive it will be to visit.
