Carnival Cruise Line has announced plans for an eight-day bus tour for travel agents across the southern U.S. this spring.

Dubbed "Agentpalooza," the tour will make stops in Houston, New Orleans, Charleston, South Carolina, Atlanta, Jacksonville and Orlando, Florida and will be hosted by Carnival's Vice President of Sales & Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez.

Carnival's sales leadership team will also attend and will be available for one-on-one meetings with agents at the various stops.

In addition to the meetings, the tour will feature entertainment, community service events and marketing and product experiences.

The tour kicks off in Houston on May 11 and wraps up in Orlando May 18. Agentpalooza will stop in New Orleans May 12, visit Charleston May 15 and stop in Atlanta and Jacksonville May 16 and May 17, respectively.

Each stop will feature multiple areas for travel agents to explore. The "Carnival Fun Zone" will focus on entertainment with highlights including a live DJ, photo booth, lawn games and a candy area. Meanwhile, agents will be able to meet one on one with members of Carnival's sales leadership team and local business development directors at the "At Your Service" space.

The "Community Impact" area will be set up for participants to give back to local food banks, as well as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

At the first two stops in Houston and New Orleans, Carnival will establish a "Rockstar Moments" space where agents will be able to participate in video segments that will later air on the cruise line's trade Facebook page and on the GoCCL.com agent portal.

Prizes, including a complimentary eight-day Carnival cruise, will be awarded at all six stops.

"Visiting agents on a bus tour is an excellent way to cover a great deal of ground at once with numerous team members and to do what we do best - work with agents on providing the best sales and service we can while having a great time along the way," said Perez in a statement. "We have continued the theme from our popular 'Travel Agents Rock' campaign, and named these festival-style events 'Agentpalooza,' which we think really captures the celebration of our amazing rock star travel partners."

Since availability is limited, Carnival is encouraging interested agents to sign up for events early. Those unable to make it can still follow the tour and participate online via GoCCL.com and Carnival's trade Facebook page.
