Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas will open its newest addition, the $750 million Paradise Tower, on July 31 -- almost two months ahead of schedule. The tower's 490 rooms were designed with the property's party attitude in mind but with a more luxurious, sophisticated atmosphere. Paradise Tower has 18 floors, including a penthouse and 10 pool suites. The penthouse measures 3,500 square feet and has floor-to-ceiling windows throughout; the Strip can be seen unobstructed from end to end while a turn in either direction provides views of mountains. The penthouse also has mahogany woods, platinum tiles, an oversize hot tub, interactive digital pool table and a video wall. The pool suites, which overlook or even offer direct access to the Beach Club pool, include two-level duplexes with doors that open to a cabana or to the pool deck, or a glass balcony that overlooks the pool. "The Hard Rock is evolving," said Phil Shalala, Hard Rock's vice president of marketing. "It has really melded into the perfect property for the young affluent consumer that is into music, fashion, technology and lifestyle in general. It really stands for that perfect balance."
