Delta Air Lines released the latest version of its Fly Delta app for the iPhone Wednesday.

Highlights of the latest upgrade include fully integrated airport wayfinding maps for 20 major airports around the world-developed in collaboration with tech startup LocusLabs-as well as the ability to view boarding passes and flight details offline.

The wayfinding maps will guide users to wherever they need to go inside their airport, whether it's to the baggage claim or their favorite restaurant. Travelers can search generic terms or brand names to pull up a list of options.

Delta customers can access the maps simply by touching the departure city code, arrival city code or gate numbers on their boarding pass.

Airport maps are available domestically for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Boston's Logan International Airport, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Detroit Metropolitan Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, Orlando International Airport, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, San Francisco International Airport and Salt Lake City International Airport.

Overseas, Delta has made interactive maps available for travelers passing through London's Heathrow Airport and Tokyo's Narita International Airport.

This spring, the app will also include maps for Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport, Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport, Brazil's Sao Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport, Mexico City International Airport and China's Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

The Fly Delta app also now features 3D Touch quick actions that will allow users to access shortcuts to book flights, check in or view their flight status with a simple tap of the home screen app icon.

"We are trying to anticipate when customers may want or need to use a map and provide an easy and intuitive way to do that-whether to find a Sky Club, a gate or a cup of coffee," Delta's vice president of global distribution and digital strategy Rhonda Crawford said in a statement.

Looking ahead, Crawford said the improved app should assist travelers in successfully navigating changing airports.

"Delta has several airport infrastructure projects underway, and we expect this new app functionality to play an important role in helping customers through some important transitions."

Fly Delta for Android will be released later this spring.
