San Diego went through the trouble of corralling some amazing sights and attractions and putting them all in one little place, so you might as well head on out and experience it all.

Next on up for our business expeditions is San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, which we will briefly profile for you with things you can tackle in and around the area.

For those new to the section, you can find our virtual romps through parts of London and Los Angeles.

The point of Business Casual is to encourage a modicum of leisure travel amid your business itineraries. We understand that you may only have an hour or just one evening for yourself as you tackle important meetings, so here are just a few things you can do with limited time in a place that is filled to the brim with food, drinks and attractions.

If you have any suggestions of things that should be included, holler at us accordingly.

Morning:

Perhaps you have a little time in the morning to explore. Well San Diego's Gaslamp is congested in the best possible manner.

The Broken Yolk:

Normally you don't want to start a busy day with a gut bomb. Then again, you are a road warrior made of stuff that doesn't break.

Werewolf:

Now Werewolf offers great meals all hours of the day and fine entertainment into the wee hours of the night. But it's breakfast is sensible yet delicious. Well, as sensible as biscuits and gravy go.

Park Place Café:

Or perhaps you just need a warm cup of coziness and some good food. Park Place Café comes highly recommended.

Afternoon:

Whether it's for lunch or to take a quick walk around town, here is just a sample of what to do.

Tours:

There are a bevy of tours that will take up varying degrees of your time. You can, for example, head to Trolley Tours, which offers walking tours with a guide, as does the Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation.

Or you can just do it yourself with this awesome point-by-point map provided by National Geographic.

Take a Bike Ride:

Burn off some stress with an afternoon bike ride.

Shop:

Obviously, there is no shortage of shops along the streets, but nearby Horton Plaza may be your one-stop shop on a brief schedule.

There is a movie theater, 24 Hour Fitness for the health conscious and more.

Chuck Jones Gallery:

Or if you are a huge Looney Tunes fan, and who isn't, you can visit this quaint gallery that features more than enough to lift your sprits.

Evening:

Petco Park:

We understand that it's so easy to simply toss out a "Go visit the local stadium" and walk away.

But Petco is so beautifully embedded into this part of town that it demands your attention. And for 81 days of the year, it offers a few hours of baseball respite.

Jolt'n Joe's Gaslamp:

It smells like a great bar should-so not very well at all. It emanates of the Ghost of Parties Past but has a ton to offer in the form of a multi-level watering hole that also features pool tables as well as opportunities to slap around a ping-pong ball in a bout of table tennis.

Food:

From there the world is your figurative oyster. Or, you can munch on literal oysters at Blue Point, or devour pasta at Osteria Panevino or just keep it simple at Barleymash.

Whatever you decide to do, we just hope we gave you an inkling as to all that awaits your stay in San Diego.
